During the internship phase: Conduct a research project among faith-based and non-faith-based nonprofit organizations to determine the correlation between employee motivation, engagement, and retention. Compile industry research to assist in the growth of the organizational development consulting endeavors of CapinCrouse LLP under the direction of the Professional Practice Leader - Consulting. Work with the Director of Talent Management to assess needs and potential improvements to their processes.

Handle support tasks of the department and the Director, including making appointments, monitoring budgets, processing mail, tracking and ordering supplies, managing the student employment process, and processing purchase orders. Proofread copy for reports, printed materials, and web projects. Conduct market research and analyze the effectiveness of digital communications methods being employed to interact with the target market. Manage and coordinate the annual Missionary Book Mailing sent to over 400 international and domestic missionary families. Serve as project manager for internal design team as well as campus social media managers by maintaining the database of projects and stories to be spotlighted, inputting new projects into project management software, assigning tasks, and enforcing deadlines.

Events Coordinator

Coordinate with Vice President of Donor Ministries on the wants, needs, and expectations associated with BGEA Donor events prior to, during, and following the event implementation. Track all action items related to the event including the creation of the guest list, maintenance of the invitation list, RSVP responses, coordination of communication with attendees, management of event logistics in conjunction with involved parties, and timely delivery of follow-up communication following the event. Provide input in the decision-making process on event logistics, to include liaising with 5 internal departments, vendors, support staff, and other contacts as appropriate.

Manage scheduling requests and produce related correspondence for President/CEO. Maintain spreadsheets and logs essential to the function of the department, including inventory, book and gift distributions, and endorsements by the President/CEO. Organize the assembly and delivery of various mailings, including book distributions and 2,500 staff Christmas gifts. Review daily media clips directly pertaining to Samaritan’s Purse and Franklin Graham, as well as 20+ news outlets and related social media relevant to the goals and interests of the ministry. Coordinate Franklin Graham event invitations from initial invitation list to handling RSVPs, as needed. Capture and consolidate background information from any or all of the 18 departments for the President/CEO’s reference including talking points for internal and external meetings and interviews, draft language for correspondence, and necessary background research for current events.
